The window for submission of APC white papers was between 12:00 pm Eastern, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 and 05:00 pm Eastern Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Please read the instructions below very carefully. 

Please complete all the fields below. You must complete this form for each white paper you submit to ensure that the paper will be considered by the survey committee and posted as part of the survey project. You may submit multiple white papers. Please note that all submitted white papers will be made public via the Astro2020 website. 

As a service to the community, the American Astronomical Society has offered to publish Astro2020 white papers in the Bulletin of the American Astronomical Society (BAAS, baas.aas.org) . In addition to increasing the web search visibility of the white papers, each paper will be indexed at ADS. If you do not wish to have your white paper published in the BAAS, you may opt out before submitting. Your white paper will still be available via the Astro2020 webpage.

Your contribution will be disseminated by both the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the American Astronomical Society (AAS) through the Bulletin of the AAS (subject to your decision to opt out below).  As a contributor of a white paper to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Committee for Decadal Survey on Astronomy and Astrophysics 2020 (Astro2020) (“White Paper”), I hereby grant a nonexclusive, no-cost, worldwide, transferable, irrevocable license authorizing both NAS and AAS and others acting on their behalf to publish, use, duplicate, disclose, and display my White Paper. (Nonexclusive means that you may grant these same rights to other parties without violating this licensing agreement.)
 
I understand and agree that the foregoing White Paper may be edited and used by NAS or AAS or their agents in whole or in part for the following purposes: (1) posting to the NAS website and other dissemination via the worldwide web and other electronic media; (2) listing in the Public Access File created for the Decadal Survey; and (3) reproduction in NAS’ print publications and the Bulletin of the AAS subject to you decision to opt out of publication by AAS by checking the box below.
