Virtual Delivery Notification Form

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ISACA/CMMI Institute will permit* CMMI appraisals and courses to be delivered entirely virtually by certified instructors and appraisers for a limited time. *Permission is conditional based on the requirements of this pilot period as defined in the March 2020 Remote Delivery Partner Webinar, the Enabling Virtual Service Delivery (EVSD) CMMI Practice Area, and other requirements as stated below. To deliver a CMMI course or appraisal virtually, the Virtual Delivery Notification Form must be submitted at least seven calendar days prior to delivery.

The purpose of this form is to notify ISACA/CMMI Institute of your intention to deliver a CMMI course or appraisal virtually.

By submitting this form you:

Consent to this virtual delivery event possibly being randomly observed for quality assurance purposes.
Agree to complete the EVSD Pilot Report and submit it to ISACA/CMMI Institute within 15 calendar days after your delivery event
Acknowledge the review and understanding of the CMMI Virtual Delivery Toolkit, the CMMI virtual event delivery process, requirements, restrictions, etc. as defined in the CMMI Practice Area: EVSD and the March 2020 Remote Delivery Partner Webinar (recording and slides)

Instructions:

Submit the form at least seven calendar days prior to your course or appraisal dates
Receive form submission confirmation
If the delivery event is a High Maturity Concepts course or public course offering then you must submit the form at least 14 calendar days prior to your course, then wait for approval from CMMI Institute.
If the delivery event is NOT a High Maturity Concepts course or public course offering then you may proceed as planned.

One of the checklist items within the CMMI Virtual Delivery Toolkit states that appraisers need to create/update appraisal plans to incorporate virtual delivery approaches being used, and accompanying risk mitigation, using guidance from the Enabling Virtual Solution Delivery Practice Area.

For appraisals: CMMI V2.0 appraisal plans are recorded in the CMMI Appraisal System (CAS) so planning for virtual delivery can be added in CAS. CMMI V1.3 appraisal plans are recorded following the appraisal plan template, available from Lead Appraiser website dashboards. Those can be submitted into SAS as well.
