SR 78 / Glamis Multiuse Grade Separated Crossing User Survey

SR 78 / Glamis Multiuse Grade Separated Crossing User Survey

Note to Mobile Users - Please use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to advance the survey.

Thank you for your time and participation in this study. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

This survey is being conducted on behalf of the Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC) to better understand off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation in the vicinity of the local transportation network near Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area.

Your responses will help ICTC’s efforts to evaluate the feasibility of a multiuse grade separation crossing for safe OHV travel across the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks and SR 78 in Glamis, California.

Although the survey is related to the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is not involved in or a sponsor of the project.  If a responsible entity decides to sponsor the project, BLM will work with that entity on issues related to public lands.

This survey is evaluating OHV activities in the Glamis region of the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area and surrounding areas in Eastern Imperial County shown in the Figure.

There is no legal obligation to take the survey but doing so will help to inform our study to identify feasible OHV crossing solutions.
