Dance/NYC recognizes that language is constantly in flux and that words might have different meanings depending on their context and use. To ensure that survey respondents are not excluded by the answer choices, all questions offer an opportunity to write in an identifier. Aligning with its values of justice, equity, and inclusion, Dance/NYC is engaged in a continuous process of refining language used in its surveys and prioritizes feedback from communities impacted by its work.
Only Dance/NYC, researchers, and rehearsal spaces will have access to individual survey responses. As there is no identifying information in the survey itself, all responses will remain anonymous.
