My Urban Playground Inner West

How do you play in the Inner West?

Council is investigating the current and future recreation needs of the Inner West LGA. Have your say on the recreation activities you participate in, what’s working well, what you’d like to do but can’t, and what’s needed for the future.

This study will inform the development of Council policy and strategy to address current and future needs to cater for additional population and increasing densities as a result of new development.

Council defines recreation as a broad spectrum ranging from unstructured activities like picnics, walking the dog and playing in parks, to organised sport, and everything in between.

Purpose of this survey

Inner West Council offers many recreational spaces, facilities, and services, including parks, sports fields, bike paths, streets, aquatic, fitness and indoor sport centres, bushland, and waterways.

This survey is an opportunity to have your say on recreation needs for the area including:

  • Which recreation activities you participate in now
  • What's working well, and what could be improved, and
  • Your ideas for new or improved recreation facilities and activities to meet the needs of the current and future population.

Please take 10 minutes to have your input through this survey.

If you're completing the survey with a child or someone with disability, you're encouraged to do one survey per person (ie one survey with your child's answers, one survey with your answers) - we want to know how everyone plays!

You can read more about this project, and add your ideas to the interactive community map through Council's Your Say page.

NB: While this survey is possible on a mobile device, it is optimised for desktop use.
