To DRB Landowners:

Register as a landowner opposed to fracking in the Delaware River Basin and help us prove we are the majority.

New Image Element
The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) has proposed a ban on fracking in the Delaware River Basin, but this ban is not yet a done deal.

A small minority of landowners, backed by the oil and gas industry, want to lease their land and bring fracking to the Upper Delaware River Basin.  These are mostly owners of large properties.  They can be expected to fight the proposed ban on all fronts.  If they are successful in reversing the ban, the rest of us will suffer the consequences, including the industrialization of our landscape, negative health impacts, potential contamination of our drinking water, environmental degradation, etc.  Those opposed to fracking in the Basin need to stand up now and be counted.

Please use this survey to indicate your support for a ban on fracking in the Basin.

If fracking comes to the Basin, it will most likely be in Wayne and/or Pike county.  If you are a landowner in one of these counties, or in Sullivan or Delaware county, your information is especially needed.  DCS will be doing an analysis of land ownership in these counties to show that the majority does not support fracking.  Note that we will be using aggregated data only to do our analysis (similar to this study). Your individual information will not be published or shared.
