CS For All 2018 - Student Technology Survey

You are invited to take a survey about technology. It is an opportunity to have a voice in how computers are used in school. The survey will take about 10-20 minutes. Your parents have already given permission, but this is your chance to decide.

You do not have to do the survey if you don’t want to. And if you start, you can stop at any time.  If you decide not to do the survey, no one will get mad at you.

Other than the researchers, no one will know your answers—not your teachers or other students.

If you have questions about the survey, please call or email the study director:
Dr. Jill Denner, ETR, (831) 440-2264, jill.denner@etr.org.

For questions about your rights as a participant in this research project, you can contact Dr. Tanya Matthews, ETR IRB Chairperson, at (877) 754-1404, ext. 9200. An IRB is a committee that helps to make sure people in research projects are protected.

Welcome to the Santa Cruz City Schools student technology survey. This is not a test and it will not affect your grade. You will not write your name anywhere. Your responses are important and they will be used to create more fun opportunities with computers in your school.
