AASHTO CAT Research Roadmap Needs

Welcome!

Welcome, and thank you for taking our survey!

This survey is part of a research effort funded by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program. The research is being led by Jennifer Dill at Portland State University in collaboration with Toole Design Group. The goal of this project is to develop a research roadmap for the AASHTO Council on Active Transportation to focus its efforts to support, monitor, disseminate, and implement research on active transportation.

The project team is using a review of existing research and outreach to industry practitioners to identify research gaps, prioritize research needs, and help guide the Council’s future activities. Your participation in this survey is a crucial part of our outreach effort and will help validate and prioritize the information we collected during the initial research review.

We greatly appreciate you taking time to help us identify which active transportation research topics AASHTO should focus on in the future. The length of the survey will depend on the number of topics you select in the beginning, but we anticipate it will take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. To ensure that your responses are counted, please complete this survey by July 8, 2020.

The National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) produces ready-to-implement solutions to the challenges facing transportation professionals. NCHRP is sponsored by the individual state departments of transportation of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). NCHRP is administered by the Transportation Research Board (TRB), part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.  Any opinions and conclusions expressed or implied in resulting research products are those of the individuals and organizations who performed the research and are not necessarily those of TRB; the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine; or NCHRP sponsors.

Thank you!
