2013 CAP Summer Arts Program (CAPSA)
CAPSA is a tuition-free three week intensive arts program for Los Angeles County area high school students entering grades 10, 11, 12, or graduating in June 2013. The program offers outstanding workshops in eight disciplines: Animation, Creative Writing, Dance, Digital Filmmaking, Music, Photography, Theater and the Visual Arts. Each workshop is led by the world-renowned faculty of CalArts and CalArts student instructors, who introduce CAPSA participants to the studio environment and provide guidance in creating original works of art. Participants also visit some of Los Angeles' most prominent arts institutions, attend talks with visiting artists, learn about college applications and financial aid programs, and exhibit or perform their work in a culmination festival for family and friends!
